Looking for a driving role that keeps you active, outdoors, and part of something that truly makes a difference? Pertemps are proud to be recruiting Van Drivers on behalf of our valued public sector client in Edinburgh. You’ll play a key role in keeping our city clean, safe, and beautiful all while earning a competitive wage and working within a supportive team.
Location: Edinburgh East
Hours: 4 days on / 4 days off 06:00 to 17:02 (45-minute break)
Pay: £14.02 - £15.68 per hour
Duration: Temporary ongoing work
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Driving a variety of vehicles: cage vans, litter press, hako and sweepers
- Working as part of a friendly and dedicated team
- Carrying out heavy lifting, loading, and special uplifts
- Completing vehicle checks and essential paperwork
What We’re Looking For:
- Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 points)
- Solid driving experience and confidence on Edinburgh's roads
- A team player with a positive attitude and reliability
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong health and safety awareness
- Friendly and approachable, great with the public and teammates
