FULLY REMOTE INSIDE IR35 CONTRACT
ECS Resource Group are currently working in partnership with a global managed service provider, assisting them with the search for an AWS Consultant on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the migration of virtual machines and workloads from legacy infrastructure into AWS using migration tooling and automation.
- Design and implement AWS infrastructure components including networking, compute, and storage in line with high-level architecture.
- Establish and maintain multi-account AWS environments with appropriate governance, monitoring, and access controls.
- Collaborate with security and networking teams to ensure secure connectivity, encryption, and edge protection throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Contribute to post-migration optimisation activities, including service refinement, cost efficiency, and operational readiness.
- AWS Landing Zone enhancements in line with customer requests.
- Capturing of design changes in alignment.
- Migration of pilot resources from on-premises environment to AWS Landing Zone.
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, EBS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Proven experience delivering cloud migrations using tools such as AWS MGN or similar replication technologies.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts including segmented environments, routing, and hybrid connectivity.
- Knowledge of cloud security principles including identity management, encryption (KMS), and threat detection tools (e.g., GuardDuty, Security Hub).
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with evolving requirements and tight delivery timelines.
