Role Overview

Support product certification, regulatory compliance, and technical documentation activities for new and existing products. Responsible for maintaining certification records, supporting product changes, and ensuring regulatory documentation is accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare regulatory documentation for product certification schemes.
  • Support regulatory and corporate-driven changes to existing products.
  • Prepare and coordinate updates to product packaging and labelling.
  • Maintain technical files and certification records.
  • Scan, archive, and manage controlled documentation.
  • Support shipment of samples for testing and certification.
  • Maintain documentation within company systems.
  • Perform routine compliance and regulatory activities for new and existing products.
  • Support audits, certification reviews, and document control processes.
  • Work closely with Regulatory, Quality, Engineering, and Product teams.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience handling technical, regulatory, quality, or controlled documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently and within a team.
  • Quick to learn new systems and processes.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Degree in Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience within a multinational organisation.
  • Knowledge of PPE products and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with document control, quality systems, or product compliance.

Regulatory & Compliance Experience (Desirable)

Exposure to any of the following would be advantageous:

  • CE Marking and UKCA Marking
  • PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425
  • Product certification schemes
  • Technical Files and Declarations of Conformity
  • ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
  • BSI, SATRA, TV, SGS, Intertek, or UL certification processes
  • Packaging and labelling compliance
  • Change control and audit support
