About the Role
The Systems Engineer plays a key role in maintaining, improving and supporting our technology estate. This is both a hands-on technical role and a service-focused role, supporting colleagues with varied levels of technical experience while ensuring systems remain available, compliant and high-performing.

Skills & Experience Required
- Demonstrable experience in technical engineering or systems support role.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID, endpoint management and modern device provisioning.
- Knowledge of security best practice including MFA, conditional access, patching, encryption and monitoring tools.
- Experience supporting users across distributed, multi-site environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, especially when translating technical concepts for non-technical colleagues.
