Network Security Engineer
Initial 6-month Contract

£400 - £475, Outside IR35
We're looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to support security transformation and technology projects within a large enterprise environment.
The role will focus on implementing and enhancing network security solutions, supporting secure cloud and container environments, and working closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure security requirements are met across business-critical platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and support network security technologies and controls
Support container and cloud security initiatives
Work across the Software Development Lifecycle and DevSecOps environments
Manage and enhance identity and access management solutions
Work closely with technical teams, architects and senior stakeholders
Assess security risks and support remediation activities
Support technology transformation and modernisation projects
Requirements:
Proven experience working as a Network Security Engineer
Previous telecommunications experience is essential
Strong knowledge of network security technologies and controls
Experience with Container Security, Cloud Security, Identity Security, and DevSecOps
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
