Illumio Engineer Initial 3-month Contract Remote working - UK or US hours preferred £550 - £575/day, Inside IR35 We're recruiting for an experience Illumio Engineer to support a major cloud migration programme for a global enterprise customer. The role will focus on delivering micro-segmentation and Zero Trust controls as workloads are migrated into Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE). You'll work closely with cloud, security and infrastructure teams to design and implement Illumio controls, ensuring workloads are securely segmented throughout the migration. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Illumio micro-segmentation policies
- Deliver Zero Trust security controls across migrating workloads
- Support the migration of workloads into Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE)
- Develop and maintain Illumio security policies and segmentation controls
- Work closely with Cloud, Network, Infrastructure and Security teams
- Analyse application and workload communication flows to define appropriate segmentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve Illumio-related connectivity and policy issues
- Support security requirements throughout the cloud migration programme
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on Illumio engineering experience
- Micro-segmentation and Zero Trust expertise
- Experience support cloud migration programmes within an enterprise environment
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE)
- Ability to overlap of US working hours - UK or US hours preferred
