We are currently seeking a proactive and organised Junior Warehouse Controller to join a busy operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse and stock management experience who is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and growing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement, control and tracking of stock while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, ensuring stock control procedures are followed at all times.
- Process inbound deliveries, accurately scanning and recording assets within inventory management systems.
- Coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring courier and consignment details are recorded correctly.
- Maintain accurate stock records across warehouse management and inventory systems.
- Operate a forklift for the safe movement and storage of stock.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures and best practices.
- Act as a point of contact for internal stock-related queries and escalations.
- Provide support to deployment and engineering teams as required.
- Assist with warehouse improvement initiatives and operational projects.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within a warehouse, logistics or stock control environment.
- Experience using warehouse management or inventory management systems.
- Forklift licence/certification.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and stock accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
- IOSH certification (training can be provided).
- Experience working with IT asset or inventory management systems.
- Eligible to obtain security clearance (sponsorship available).
Working Hours
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible start and finish times between 07:00 and 18:00, based around a 7.5-hour working day.
