ECS Resource Group are currently working in partnership with a global managed service provider who\’s end client is in the Design & Engineering sector. We are assisting them with the search for a IT Support Engineer on a temp to perm basis. This is a hybrid based role with 3x days a week in the Reading office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prompt and effective first-line and second-line support for IT-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and system problems proactively.
- Manage and coordinate the repair and maintenance of complex IT systems.
- Develop strong relationships with internal users to understand and meet their IT needs.
- Respond quickly to user concerns, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
- Support continuous improvement of IT services, including occasional travel to Bristol and Maidenhead.
Key Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge in hardware, software, operating systems, and network infrastructure.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for user support and documentation.
