Our client, a well-established Managed Service Provider, is looking for an experienced Asset Manager to join their team on a contract basis. This role will be central to managing and optimising the organisation's software, hardware, and cloud assets, ensuring strong governance, cost control, and lifecycle visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets across software, hardware, and cloud environments
- Drive software licence optimisation and ensure compliance across the estate
- Manage hardware lifecycle, including technical debt, refresh planning, and EoSL management
- Support cloud asset governance and reporting across AWS and Azure
- Maintain accurate asset data and contribute to continuous improvement of asset processes
- Collaborate with technical, commercial, and operational teams to ensure effective asset control
Skills & Experience
- Strong background in IT Asset Management within a managed service or enterprise environment
- Experience in Software licence & lifecycle optimisation
- Hardware lifecycle, technical debt & EoSL management
- Cloud platform knowledge: AWS / Azure
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Confident working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
