Rate: £700-£800 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: London (1 day per week onsite)

Duration: Initial 6 months

We are seeking an experienced Test Assurance Manager to join a major transformation programme within a globally recognised organisation. This role will play a key part in establishing and governing the programme's testing approach, ensuring all testing activities are delivered to the highest standards and provide the confidence required for successful programme delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior testing professional who enjoys operating at a strategic level, defining frameworks, challenging assumptions, identifying risks and providing assurance across complex programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain the programme Test Strategy and Test Assurance Framework.
  • Establish testing standards, governance processes, quality gates and assurance principles.
  • Review test coverage, completeness, traceability and overall quality across multiple workstreams.
  • Provide independent oversight of testing activities delivered by Test Managers and delivery teams.
  • Assess testing risks, challenge gaps in coverage and support risk acceptance decisions.
  • Ensure appropriate defect management processes are in place and effectively monitored.
  • Define and govern test documentation standards and reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with Test Managers, Stream Leads and Programme Management to provide assurance and confidence throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Support programme leadership with testing readiness assessments and go-live recommendations.
