ECS is looking for an experienced HVAC commissioning engineer to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in undertaking the balancing and commissioning of both ventilation and water systems to the relevant BSRIA and CIBSE codes and guidelines.

The role is open to individuals of varying experience from intermediate level and the commissioning of small installations through to lead level, comfortable commissioning large ventilation and water systems, analysing drawings and design intent and producing detailed reports. Holding a CSA Grade would be beneficial but not essential as ECS can offer on the job training, development and qualifications where needed.

Experience:

  • Previous experience working as a HVAC commissioning engineer.
  • Proven record in balancing ventilation and water systems to BSRIA & CIBSE codes and guidelines.
  • Ideally hold a CSA Grade or be in a position to gain the appropriate Grade.
  • Experience working across all sectors, leisure, hospitality, education, retail, residential, health etc.
  • Ability to analyse schematics drawings, installation drawings, survey reports etc.
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of compliance and health and safety guidelines.
  • Manage own workload and time.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Comfortable working away for short durations.

Role:

  • Commissioning of HVAC systems, both ventilation and water.
  • Adhering to the relevant Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Completing work strictly in accordance to the design criteria.
  • Liaise with clients/build and maintain good working relationships.
  • Undertake some fire damper compliance duties to suit business requirements.
  • Travel required across the country including some out of hours and weekend work.
  • Based in Keighley, West Yorkshire, but full remote working.

Benefits:

  • Salary dependent on experience.
  • 21 days’ holiday plus Bank Holidays, increasing by 1 day for every 5 years of service to a maximum of 25 days.
