ECS Resource Group are currently working in partnership with a global managed service provider, assisting them with the search for a Programme Manager on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be working with a Telecoms end client across the mobile network programmes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the New Ways of Working transformation programme, ensuring strategic alignment to business objectives.
- Work closely with TSA/TSR teams to translate technical requirements into business outcomes.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across technology, operations, and product to design and implement sustainable organisational and cultural change.
- Develop programme governance, roadmaps, and delivery frameworks to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Manage budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation to ensure successful programme execution.
- Coach and influence senior leaders and teams on agile practices, collaboration models, and performance-driven culture.
- Ensure measurable business outcomes are achieved, particularly around time-to-market, efficiency, and customer experience.
Key Skills:
- Strong background in Telecom Solution Architecture (TSA) / Technical Solution Requirements (TSR) – Essential.
- Proven experience as a Programme Manager / Senior Programme Lead in telecoms or technology-led organisations.
- Track record of delivering large-scale change and transformation programmes (operating model, agile transformation, or ways of working).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to engage at C-suite and technical team level.
- Strong understanding of telecoms networks, IT systems, and service delivery models.
- Hands-on experience with Agile, SAFe, or other scaling frameworks desirable.
- Ability to manage multi-million-pound budgets and complex delivery portfolios.
