IT Support Specialist (Contract)
Preston, (full time & 5 days on site)
Contract: Initially 6 months - starting imminently
Salary £230 per day (inside IR35 only)
Are you an experienced IT Support Specialist who enjoys building strong customer relationships, improving service performance and taking ownership when challenges arise?
Previous experience:
- Do you hold current SC Clearance?
- Do you hold an ITIL Foundation qualification (or higher)?
- Can you evidence Level 1 & 2 technical assistance in a Service Desk/Walk Up Tech Bar/L2 Technical Support role?
- Do you have experience of using ServiceNow, (especially Reporting & Dashboarding)?
- Are you able to diagnose hardware and Windows OS issues?
I am recruiting for a prominent client who is looking for a Support Specialist who has all of the above! With an initial 6 month contract period, this could be extended, (to be confirmed)
Responsibilities:
- You’ll be part of the Local Support Team, providing Levels 1 & 2 support to users.
- Undertake diagnostics & troubleshooting for: hardware, software, OS & basic connectivity, (LAN/WIFI)
- Use ServiceNow to log, track & manage the lifecycle of tickets.
