About the Role
Weβre looking for a Clinical Support Specialist to join a dynamic Infection Prevention & Surgical Solutions team, supporting clinical excellence and product adoption across acute hospital settings. This is a highly collaborative, field-based role where you will work cross-functionally with Sales, Medical Education, Marketing, and Clinical teams to deliver impactful clinical education, data collection, and customer engagement programmes. A key focus will be supporting Normothermia Assessment projects, helping clinical teams improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Normothermia Assessment projects within key accounts, including structured clinical data collection
- Deliver clinical education and product training to theatre and ward-based teams, including bedside support
- Work under the direction of the National Sales Manager, contributing to both clinical and commercial objectives
- Collaborate closely with:
- Regional Sales Managers (RSMs)
- Territory Business Managers (TBMs)
- Medical Education (MedEd) & Medical Partnerships
- Portfolio Marketing teams
- Deliver education during and after product trials and evaluations, supporting onboarding of new customers and specialties
- Provide customer-facing clinical expertise, including responding to queries and leading investigations into complex product-related clinical situations
- Support clinical strategy execution, including advisory activities and educational programmes
- Apply evidence-based clinical knowledge to drive product adoption and strengthen customer relationships
- Contribute to the delivery of Solventum clinical programmes and resources
Experience & Qualifications
- Registered healthcare professional (Nurse, ODP, or similar)
- Current or recent operating theatre experience (3β5 years in acute care)
- Experience supporting surgical and/or anaesthetic procedures
- Proven experience delivering clinical education, training, or seminars
- Full UK driving licence
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- Based within commutable distance of Oxford
- Previous industry/medical device experience
- Exposure to Salesforce or CRM systems (training provided)
Skills & Competencies
- Strong clinical expertise in perioperative environments
- Ability to train, coach, and educate healthcare professionals effectively
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident working across cross-functional teams
- Competent in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
