Overview

I am hiring for an experienced Business Analyst to support a major ERP transformation as my client moves from legacy systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central. I am looking for a professional with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, who also has proven experience in delivering integrations with the wider Dynamics 365 ecosystem, such as Sales or Customer Service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution & Process Design
    • Lead end-to-end process discovery across the commercial lifecycle: Opportunity → Quote → Order → Fulfilment → Billing → Service
    • Design and optimise the product catalogue, pricing models, and quoting processes within Dynamics 365 Sales
    • Ensure alignment and integration between Dynamics 365 Sales and Business Central
    • Translate business requirements into functional designs aligned to platform capabilities
    • Challenge legacy processes and promote standardised, scalable solutions
  • Functional Delivery
    • Define and document:
      • Current and future-state process maps
      • Functional requirements and user stories
      • Cross-system data models (products, pricing, customers, contracts)
      • End-to-end operating model across quote-to-cash
    • Support solution design decisions in collaboration with technical and delivery teams
    • Drive process optimisation and automation using Dynamics capabilities
  • Data & Integration
    • Support data migration activities, including:
      • Product catalogue and pricing structures
      • Customer and contract data
      • Data validation, transformation, and reconciliation
    • Ensure clean and scalable data models across CRM and ERP
  • Testing & Deployment
    • Lead and support UAT, including:
      • Cross-system scenario definition (CRM → Business Central)
      • Test coordination and execution
      • Issue triage and resolution
      • Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities
      • Ensure business readiness and successful adoption of new processes

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations, with strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Sales (CRM), including:
    • Product catalogue design
    • Pricing and discounting models
    • Quoting and proposal processes
  • Deep understanding of quote-to-cash (Q2C) processes across CRM and ERP
  • Strong knowledge of Business Central modules, including:
    • Finance
    • Sales & Purchasing
    • Inventory & Warehousing
    • Projects / Jobs / Resource billing
    • Service Management
  • Experience designing and supporting CRM–ERP integrations (D365 Sales & BC)
  • Strong capability in:
    • Functional design and documentation
    • Process improvement and standardisation
    • Stakeholder engagement across business and IT
  • Experience migrating from legacy or highly customised systems to Dynamics
