We’re working with a leading IT managed services business undertaking a major transformation programme, migrating from a legacy ERP to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central integrated with Dynamics 365 Sales (CRM). We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst contractor to support this programme end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, stakeholder workshops, and process mapping (As-Is / To-Be)
- Support delivery across the full lifecycle: discovery, design, UAT, and cutover
- Design and optimise end-to-end quote-to-cash processes (CRM → ERP)
- Define and align product, pricing, customer, and order data models across CRM and ERP
- Work closely with delivery teams and SI partners to shape Business Central-aligned solutions
- Support data migration, UAT planning/execution, and business readiness activities
- Drive process standardisation aligned to Business Central best practice
- Engage with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Service Delivery, and Technology, challenging legacy processes and driving adoption
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst delivering ERP transformation programmes
- Hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (essential)
- Demonstrable experience delivering end-to-end Business Central implementations (requirements through to go-live)
- Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Sales (CRM), including:
- Product catalogue
- Pricing
- Quoting
- Experience designing and optimising quote-to-cash processes across CRM and ERP
- Strong understanding of core Business Central modules:
- Finance
- Sales & Purchasing
- Inventory
- Service / Subscriptions / Projects
- Experience supporting data migration, UAT, and cross-system testing
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to challenge and influence across business and technology teams
- Experience configuring or implementing CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) functionality within CRM
- Experience defining and developing data models to support CRM–ERP integrations
- Background working in complex, service-led environments (products, managed services, lifecycle services)
