ECS Resource Group are currently working in partnership with a global managed service provider who\’s end client is in the Manufacturing sector. We are assisting them with the search for a IT Support Engineer on a contract basis. This is a contract that is inside IR35 and is based on-site every day in Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on IT support for implementation activities.
- Set up and configure barcode printers, RF scanners, and related hardware.
- Assist SMEs and Power Users in preparing hardware and software for go-live readiness.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and connectivity issues on-site.
- Collaborate with the central project team to ensure consistent setup and deployment practices.
Key Skills:
- Background in system administration and IT infrastructure support.
- Experience with hardware configuration, including scanners and printers.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
