Location: Oxford (field-based – hospital sites)

Rate: £26.46 per hour

Contract: 6–12 months

About the Role

We’re looking for a Clinical Support Specialist to join a dynamic Infection Prevention & Surgical Solutions team, supporting clinical excellence and product adoption across acute hospital settings. This is a highly collaborative, field-based role where you will work cross-functionally with Sales, Medical Education, Marketing, and Clinical teams to deliver impactful clinical education, data collection, and customer engagement programmes. A key focus will be supporting Normothermia Assessment projects, helping clinical teams improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Normothermia Assessment projects within key accounts, including structured clinical data collection
  • Deliver clinical education and product training to theatre and ward-based teams, including bedside support
  • Work under the direction of the National Sales Manager, contributing to both clinical and commercial objectives
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), Territory Business Managers (TBMs), Medical Education (MedEd) & Medical Partnerships, and Portfolio Marketing teams
  • Deliver education during and after product trials and evaluations, supporting onboarding of new customers and specialties
  • Provide customer-facing clinical expertise, including responding to queries and leading investigations into complex product-related clinical situations
  • Support clinical strategy execution, including advisory activities and educational programmes
  • Apply evidence-based clinical knowledge to drive product adoption and strengthen customer relationships
  • Contribute to the delivery of Solventum clinical programmes and resources

Experience & Qualifications

  • Registered healthcare professional (Nurse, ODP, or similar)
  • Current or recent operating theatre experience (3–5 years in acute care)
  • Experience supporting surgical and/or anaesthetic procedures
  • Proven experience delivering clinical education, training, or seminars
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
  • Based within commutable distance of Oxford
  • Previous industry/medical device experience
  • Exposure to Salesforce or CRM systems (training provided)

  • Strong clinical expertise in perioperative environments
  • Ability to train, coach, and educate healthcare professionals effectively
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident working across cross-functional teams
  • Competent in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
