The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to join a growing technical team, playing a key role in designing innovative network infrastructure solutions and supporting customers throughout the sales lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, customer-focused architect with a background in managed WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi and security services. You will work closely with Sales and Account Management teams, acting as the technical authority from initial customer engagement through to solution delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design tailored LAN and WAN solutions aligned to customer requirements and technical capabilities.
- Work closely with Sales and Account Management teams to understand customer needs and develop compelling technical propositions.
- Lead technical discussions, customer meetings and solution reviews, translating complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, including Statements of Work (SOWs), High-Level Designs (HLDs), network schematics and associated solution documentation.
- Collaborate with Service Delivery, Sales and Account Management teams to support new business opportunities, renewals and existing customer relationships.
- Ensure solutions are technically robust, commercially viable and deliver long-term customer value.
- Maintain accurate activity and opportunity information within CRM systems.
- Contribute to the development of a significant sales pipeline and support the wider pre-sales function.
- Good understanding of enterprise Wi-Fi technologies, including CAPWAP, WPA, 802.1X, mesh networking and wireless controllers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how to balance technical excellence with customer and business requirements.
- Full UK driving licence and the ability to pass BPSS and relevant security clearance checks.
