Senior Ribbon Engineer Permanent London (Hybrid with a high degree of flexibility) £65,000 Per Annum My client is a dynamic and client focused managed service provider who specialise in communications and networking for a wide range of clients all over the UK and who pride themselves on providing complex solutions made simple for their customers. This is an exceptional time to join the company, supporting clients in 100 different countries via our UK-based Network Operations Centre and our in-house technical, engineering and professional services teams, as well as via their established network of global partners. They require skilful, ambitious and flexible staff to work alongside us to continue our success and expansion. They are now looking for an Experienced Ribbon Engineer with a wealth of experience working with a variety of SBSaaS solutions and designs. The Role You will be responsible for my client’s Ribbon SBCaaS platform which comprises of SBC Core, PSX, RAMP & Analytics. As part of a platform team the role includes provision and decommission of customer services, providing support of customer services and the maintenance and development of the platform, including creating and updating internal documentation. Responsibilities Provision of new customer services Decommission of cancelled services Technical onboarding and offboarding of carriers and/or services Management of customer tickets Performing diagnostics and troubleshooting Routine maintenance of the platform including backups, patches etc. Development of platform including upgrades and creating PoCs Management of and acting upon proactive monitoring Creating and updating internal documentation Mentoring/coaching of junior staff Key Stakeholders Network Services Provisioning Team Project Management Office Service Desk Customer Success Team Service Delivery Team Customer Stakeholders 3rd Party Partners & Vendors Pre-Sales Education & Training SBC Core Support Professional Certification PSX Support Professional Certification Any other Ribbon certifications Relevant and proven Industry experience Key Skills & Experience Ribbon SBC Edge Ribbon Analytics/Protect Ribbon EMS/RAMP Other SBC Products Linux Good understanding of UDP & TCP Minimum of 5+ years of technical experience with Ribbon Core SBC Excellent problem solving abilities with a solution orientated approach Experience of creating technical documentation Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills Customer-focused, business-oriented, able to exercise independent planning and judgement ECS Recruitment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
