ECS Resource group are currently working with an IT Services Provider who are looking for a KDB+ Developer to join a high-performing technology team where you will design and implement high-performance solutions using KDB+.

As a KDB+ Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement high-performance solutions using KDB+ that align with the client's system architecture strategies.
  • Provide expertise in KDB+ Programming to ensure application design aligns with expectations.
  • Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation using KDB+ system flow.
  • Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including influencing the overall design and architecture of the application, development, testing, and deploying of the code.

Please note, the below requirements are essential and candidates without this will not be considered:

  • 6+ years of experience in Application Development/software development roles, with significant hands-on experience with KDB+
  • Advanced proficient in KDB+ distributed environments.
  • Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications.
  • Competency in scripting with Python, Shell (Bash), or similar for automation and integration tasks.
  • Experience building and maintaining distributed KDB+ systems for high-volume, low-latency environments.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems and working in high-availability production environments.
