We're looking for a Linux Engineer with strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience to support a short-term deployment and implementation programme for an enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deploying and implementing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments
  • Supporting build, configuration and handover into BAU
  • Working from agreed designs and implementation runbooks
  • Troubleshooting OS-level issues during deployment and go-live phases
  • Collaborating with infrastructure, network and security teams

Required experience:

  • Strong hands-on Linux engineering experience in enterprise environments
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) - essential
  • Proven experience delivering RHEL deployments and implementations
  • Solid understanding of system configuration, patching and hardening
  • Comfortable working independently in a delivery-focused contract role
