Central London - On-site (5 days a week) £220 per day (Inside IR35) Initial 1-month contract - Temp to Perm

I am recruiting for an experienced Desktop Support Technician to join on an initial 1 month contract, with a clear intention for the role to move permanent. Candidates must be happy with a temp to perm arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for desktop hardware and software, including remote users
  • Deliver deskside and remote support for Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365 users
  • Troubleshoot application issues including malware, hard disk failures, and file corruption
  • Support secure remote access technologies including VPN, Citrix, and related solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve printers, copiers, and peripheral device issues
  • Build, deploy, and support devices using Intune / Autopilot
  • Deliver white glove support to VIP and executive users
  • Ensure timely, accurate ticket updates, documentation, and closure
  • Manage hardware and software inventory
  • Coordinate with external technology vendors
  • Participate in overtime, weekend, and on call support as required
Skills & Experience Required:
  • 5+ years' hands-on Desktop Support experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and related Microsoft services
  • Experience supporting video conferencing platforms including Microsoft Teams and Zoom
  • Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS / Android)
  • Proven ability to deliver support to VIP and executive users
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Team player with a proactive, self-starter attitude
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
