We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shopper Marketing Assistant to support the delivery of shopper activation plans across a portfolio of leading consumer brands. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to shopper marketing, sales, eCommerce, and data-driven decision-making within a fast-paced commercial environment.
Working closely with the Shopper Marketing team, Data Analyst Lead, eCommerce Specialist and Sales function, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing marketing activities across key retail channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the Shopper Channel Calendar, ensuring all marketing activations are accurately planned and kept up to date.
- Support the Shopper Marketing team with campaign development, execution, and post-campaign analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams and retail partners to ensure successful delivery of shopper marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate with external vendors on in-store and online activation plans, including POS design, artwork development, planograms, and merchandising support.
- Manage marketing assets, ensuring materials are distributed effectively to retailers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct in-store competitor and category research to identify market trends, opportunities, and best-in-class execution.
- Prepare and analyse reports using internal and external data sources to monitor brand and competitor activity.
- Provide day-to-day operational support to the wider Shopper Marketing team.
- Manage the end-to-end purchase order process, including creation, tracking, confirmation, and reconciliation.
Skills & Experience
- Strong Excel skills are essential.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Previous experience in marketing, retail, FMCG, sales support, or a similar coordination role would be advantageous.
