We are working with a Leeds based growing groundworks and civil engineering contractor expanding across the North East, with a strong pipeline of commercial projects. They are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage multiple groundwork packages across sites in the region.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing 2-3 projects at any one time, typically valued between £3m-£7m, working on a remeasure basis for main contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and submission of monthly valuations
- Cost reporting and monthly CVR reporting
- Managing variations and final accounts
- Commercial management of labour, plant and materials
- Liaising with site teams and main contractors
- Attending monthly commercial meetings
Requirements
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS within groundworks or civil engineering
- Strong understanding of remeasure contracts and valuations
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Commercially astute and able to manage packages independently
- Full UK driving licence
