b Overview /b p In this role you will lead hands-on delivery of Apigee X API capabilities within a major enterprise programme. You will configure, test and support API proxies and security controls, coordinating with platform, application, security and engineering teams. You’ll troubleshoot end-to-end API requests, enable onboarding across multiple workstreams, and contribute to repeatable deployment and runbook creation. This position offers exposure to Google Cloud Platform, CI/CD pipelines and a tight feedback loop with cross-functional teams. You will help drive production readiness and provide clear technical outcomes that scale. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Configure and test Apigee X proxies, policies, target connectivity and environments /li li Implement and test API security controls, including authentication and token handling /li li Troubleshoot routing, connectivity, TLS, authentication and policy issues /li li Support API onboarding and deployment across multiple workstreams /li li Work with CI/CD pipelines and repeatable deployment processes /li li Promote APIs through development and test environments /li li Investigate defects and resolve integration issues with application and platform teams /li li Produce clear test evidence and document technical outcomes /li li Create onboarding guidance, operational documentation and runbooks /li li Support production-readiness activities and knowledge transfer /li li Collaborate with customer platform, application, network and security teams /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Hands-on experience with Apigee X /li li Knowledge of API proxies, policies, shared flows, target servers, environments /li li Strong understanding of REST APIs and API authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT, OIDC) /li li Experience troubleshooting end-to-end API requests and connectivity /li li Experience with Apigee policies and security controls /li li Understanding of GCP, networking, DNS, TLS and service connectivity /li li Experience with CI/CD processes and tools (GitHub, Harness, Jenkins or Cloud Build) /li li Experience with repeatable API deployment, testing and promotion /li li Ability to produce clear test evidence, documentation and runbooks /li li Experience with Terraform, Python, Bash, GKE, Cloud Run, Dynatrace, Google Cloud Operations or ServiceNow is advantageous /li /ul ul li collaborative /li li troubleshooting mindset /li li clear communication /li li Apigee X /li li API proxies /li li OAuth 2.0 /li /ul
