Live-In Carer – £840 to £980 per week + £40 weekly food allowance

Are you a caring, experienced carer who wants to make a real difference, one client at a time?
As a Live-In Carer, you'll support one elderly client at a time in their own home. You'll help them stay independent, comfortable and safe. You won't be rushing between visits or working against the clock. You'll have the time to build a real relationship and give the kind of care you came into this work to give.
You'll be working for a well-established, respected care provider known for high standards. They look after their carers as well as their clients.
What you'll get

24/7 support from a dedicated team of care coordinators and managers, so you're never on your own

What your day looks like
Helping with personal care: washing, dressing, grooming and continence care
Giving and prompting medication, and keeping accurate records
Planning and cooking healthy meals that fit your client's diet and tastes
Light housekeeping, laundry and shopping to keep the home safe and comfortable
Helping with mobility, moving and handling, and using equipment safely
Offering companionship through conversation, hobbies and outings
Following the care plan, noting changes, and keeping in touch with family, health professionals and the office
Needs vary from companionship and domestic help to more complex personal care. We'll match you with a placement that fits your experience.
What we're looking for
At least 1 year's experience in live-in care or a similar role with elderly clients
A kind, patient and reliable nature
Confidence working on your own and using your initiative
