Paraplanner – Hybrid (2–3 days from home) – £40,000–£45,000 + excellent benefits Our client is a well-established, growing financial planning practice near Wilmslow, Cheshire. They advise individuals, families and business owners, and are expanding to a multi-adviser model – so this is a real chance to grow with the business. The role You'll be the technical backbone of the practice, working closely with the senior adviser and owning the research and report writing behind high-quality advice – mainly retirement planning, inheritance tax, investments and family protection. What you'll do Research and analyse the right financial planning solutions for each client Write clear, compliant and personal suitability reports Be the go-to person for technical questions on pensions, investments, protection and tax Manage cases from fact-find to implementation, working closely with the administration team Join client meetings from time to time and build your own client relationships Help shape how paraplanning works as the practice grows What you'll bring Proven paraplanning experience – St. James's Place Partner Practice experience is a real advantage (preferred, not essential) Strong report writing and an eye for detail Solid knowledge of pension, investment and protection products; IHT and retirement planning experience a plus Experience of Salesforce or a similar CRM system Level 4 Diploma (or working towards it) desirable A collaborative, positive approach What's on offer £40,000–£45,000 depending on experience Hybrid working – 2–3 days a week from home Private medical insurance, death in service at 4x salary, generous pension matching and a discretionary bonus Genuine progression in a close-knit, supportive team For a confidential conversation, apply now or contact Eric Chitapi at ECS Recruitment Consultants on 07960 829577.
