As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will provide person-centered care and support to clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, promoting well-being, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for those in your care.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to clients in accordance with individual care plans.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
  • Administer medication as directed (following appropriate training).
  • Carry out light domestic duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' health or circumstances to the care manager.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safeguarding protocols.

Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends. Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (preferred, but not essential).

Desirable:
  • Previous experience in a care or support role.
  • Relevant care qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care).
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control.
Working Hours

Various shifts available, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Both part-time and full-time positions considered.

Remuneration

Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience and qualifications. Paid Mileage.
