What you’ll actually be doing
- Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) — the proper, detailed kind
- Spotting and fixing C1 and C2 faults on site
- Installing and issuing Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs) when required
- Keeping everything compliant with the regs (18th Edition is your bedtime reading, right?)
- Managing your own workload like a pro, while being part of a wider crew
- Travelling up to an hour to reach different sites when needed
What we’re ideally looking for
- Any Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition qualified
- Experience in electrical fixed wire testing and remedial work
- Experience working in social housing (or similar)
- Organised, self-motivated, detail-focused
- Good communicator who doesn’t glaze people over with jargon
- Someone who treats health & safety as gospel, not a suggestion
