What You\’ll Do Perform third-party electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety building inspections. Inspect foundations, concrete slabs, framing, roofing, and related construction activities. Review plans and determine if permitted design plans require revisions; provide recommendations to contractors, engineers, and architects. Prepare and submit daily time and inspection/field reports following ECS policies. Market our services by maintaining and developing client interactions and participating in business development and marketing related to construction inspections. Follow ECS safety procedures and policies. What We\’re Looking For High school diploma or GED required. At least 2 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Mandatory NCP CCI certifications in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines. Certifications are required for all testing types; additional licenses or certifications may be needed depending on the state. Extensive knowledge of state and local building codes, policies, and procedures. A valid driver\’s license is required if driving for or on behalf of any ECS subsidiary.
