What You\’ll Do
- Perform third-party electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety building inspections.
- Inspect foundations, concrete slabs, framing, roofing, and related construction activities.
- Review plans and determine if permitted design plans require revisions; provide recommendations to contractors, engineers, and architects.
- Prepare and submit daily time and inspection/field reports following ECS policies.
- Market our services by maintaining and developing client interactions and participating in business development and marketing related to construction inspections.
- Follow ECS safety procedures and policies.
What We\’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 2 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Mandatory NCP CCI certifications in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
- Certifications are required for all testing types; additional licenses or certifications may be needed depending on the state.
- Extensive knowledge of state and local building codes, policies, and procedures.
- A valid driver\’s license is required if driving for or on behalf of any ECS subsidiary.
