What You'll Do

  • Perform third-party electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety building inspections.
  • Inspect foundations, concrete slabs, framing, roofing, and related construction activities.
  • Review plans and determine if permitted design plans require revisions; provide recommendations to contractors, engineers, and architects.
  • Prepare and submit daily time and inspection/field reports following ECS policies.
  • Market our services by maintaining and developing client interactions and participating in business development and marketing related to construction inspections.
  • Follow ECS safety procedures and policies.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Mandatory NCP CCI certifications in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
  • Certifications are required for all testing types; additional licenses or certifications may be needed depending on the state.
  • Extensive knowledge of state and local building codes, policies, and procedures.
  • A valid driver's license is required if driving for or on behalf of any ECS subsidiary.
