Job Description for Mechanical Supervisor – South-East
To supervise and coordinate electrical engineering site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Provide technical leadership to site teams, maintain effective client relationships, and ensure full compliance with company, industry, and statutory Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) requirements.
- Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience.
- Extensive experience supervising mechanical engineering projects within construction, utilities, infrastructure, or water industries.
- Strong understanding of mechanical installations including pipework, steelwork, valves, penstocks, pumps, and associated equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- SMSTS or SSSTS.
- First Aid at Work.
- Full valid UK Driving License.
- NVQ Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering.
- Confined Space Training.
- Experience working on rivers, waterways, flood defense, or water treatment assets.
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations and Temporary Works.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project and digital reporting systems.
