As a Senior QS, you will lead the commercial management of MEP works, ensuring cost control, contract compliance, and strong supply chain performance throughout the project lifecycle. You'll also gain exposure to a wider pipeline of healthcare projects across the Dalkia North business, offering long-term career development and progression.What You Will BringStrong experience in commercial management within MEP / M&E subcontractingProven track record in cost control, reporting, subcontractor management, and change managementSolid understanding of NEC and/or JCT contracts (NEC Option C desirable)Experience preparing CVRs, cash flow forecasts, and cost to completeExcellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a wider commercial teamExperience in live environments (e.g. healthcare) is advantageousKey Responsibilities Manage the commercial delivery of MEP works on a major healthcare projectCarry out measurement and valuation of works, including variations and final accountsPrepare and maintain CVRs, cost reporting, and forecastsManage cash flow and maximise commercial performanceProcure, manage, and agree subcontractor and supplier accountsEnsure compliance with contractual requirements and internal governanceBuild strong relationships with clients, supply chain, and internal teamsSupport and mentor junior members of the commercial teamAbout You HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent in a relevant disciplineSignificant experience as a Quantity Surveyor within M&E / building servicesStrong knowledge of monthly reporting and commercial processesExcellent time management with the ability to meet tight deadlinesCollaborative, supportive, and proactive mindsetRICS chartership (or working towards) desirableValid CSCS cardRight to work in the UKOur Values People First β It starts with health, safety and wellbeingBetter Together β A collaborative teamTrusted Partners β Dedicated to our clients' successTaking Responsibility β Making a positive differenceEquity, Diversity & Inclusion We're committed to an inclusive and fair recruitment process.
