You'll install and maintain a range of specialist doors β sliding, hinged, fire-rated, manual and electric. Most of the work is on-site, where you'll follow technical drawings, use power tools safely, and make sure each job is completed to a high standard. You'll often lead or support a small team, so there's real ownership from the start.
The role involves national travel, overnight stays during the week, and the occasional weekend. You need to live near our Port Talbot (South Wales) or Bamber Bridge (Preston) depot.
What You Need- Born in the UK with a full UK passport (Security Clearance is required)
- CSCS card (SSSTS if applying for a supervisor role)
- Willing to travel and stay away regularly
- Confident with both mechanical and electrical tasks (training provided)
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395
- ECS Gold Card (or equivalent)
- Experience with control panels and industrial wiring
- Experience on secure or high-risk sites
- IPAF, PASMA, SSSTS
- Forklift or Telehandler licence
