The role involves joining a busy Venues team within the live events industry. This is a full-time, permanent role, working 40 hours per week plus overtime. It is a key support role within the commercial team, helping to keep enquiries moving, records up to date, and internal processes running smoothly. By handling the day-to-day administration, you will create valuable time for senior sales colleagues to focus on client relationships, opportunities, and revenue growth. You will work closely with the Senior Account Director and Account Director, but will not be expected to manage senior client relationships or own revenue targets. Instead, your focus will be on organisation, accuracy, communication, and keeping the wider team well supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-managing the shared inbox and directing enquiries to the right teams
- Preparing and sending proposal decks, packages, and initial costings for smaller opportunities
- Supporting quote preparation
- Assisting with congress administration and larger bid support when needed
- Adding purchase orders to forecasts
- Supporting invoice checks and commission checks with the Account Director
- Keeping track of internal event budget administration
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and opportunity data
- Cross-checking forecasts across internal systems
- Supporting pipeline reporting and revenue tracking
- Maintaining client databases, venue pricing, and rate cards
