What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Head of Planning, the Senior Planner has responsibility for the development and monitoring of programme solutions, including:

• Developing tender submissions, construction/target programmes, procurement scheduling, resource/cost allocations, on site duties, short-term planning, and co-ordination of report development.
• Working closely with the Head of Planning, Bid Directors, and Project Delivery Teams to contribute to the continued success and growth of the Construction Division.
• Providing consistent, accurate, and reliable programme data.
• Developing and communicating planning intent and proposed solutions competently using Asta PowerProject.
• Reviewing tender/construction drawings/specifications/bills to establish a robust programme solution.
• Understanding contractual obligations and how programmes can be impacted.
• Supporting and developing other members of the planning department team.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications: Preferably degree or equivalent construction qualification.

Experience:

• Demonstrate relevant previous experience in Building/Construction.
• Clear understanding of the construction process from inception to completion of a project.
• Good IT knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• High level of attention to detail whilst reviewing and compiling programme solutions.
• Good communication and inter-personal skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure to tight deadlines.
