The role
MMP UK is looking for a Print Assistant Pile Turner to join its Print Department. This is a hands-on role where no two shifts are quite the same. You will support Printers with the set-up and running of printing presses, helping to keep customer orders moving safely, accurately and on time. You will report to the Print Manager and work a 3-shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
- Load sheets into printing presses and adjust feeding mechanisms
- Make sure enough board is ready for production
- Scan materials into the 3S system accurately and promptly
- Move printed and unprinted products around the factory
- Operate the pile turner safely, following lock-off procedures
- Carry out basic press maintenance
- Keep the work area clean, tidy and safe
- Support Printers and other departments when needed
- Share clear information with colleagues across the business
- Follow all Company Health & Safety policies and safe working practices
