The Logistics Manager is to support the Construction Team in the day to day running and coordination of its activities as detailed in the responsibilities section of this document.
Responsibilities Coordinate the projects vehicle deliveries utilising delivery management software.
This will involve close coordination with the Mc L&H construction team, their trade contractors and the other members of the logistics team to ensure the efficient delivery of this critical aspect of the project.
Assist the Project Management Team in formulating and implementing the project logistic plan The Logistics Manager ensures deliveries to the project meet Mc L&H requirements and acts as the primary arbitrator between sub-contractors vehicle booking priorities.
Ensuring that the projects deliveries are compliant with the CLOCS standard and that all relevant documentation to support this is in place.
Develop, manage and amend risk assessments and method statement for the logistical element of works.
Collation of the projects vehicle delivery statistics, the analysis of these against forecasted numbers and management of variances.
Ensuring the projects compliance with the relevant vehicle monitoring systems Respond to and address queries raised by the Mc L&H Team.
The collation of the projects asset register and support the logistics team in the hiring / purchasing of materials associated with the delivery of the logistics team scope.
Support the logistics team members in the production of documentation and reports.
Maintain a comprehensive inventory of plant, materials, and equipment and record goods in/goods out, Coordinate the distribution of materials across the project site in collaboration with the construction team.
