Labour Manager -£40,000-£50,000- London The Role Are you ready to take the lead in resolving labour challenges across multiple projects? Can you confidently build strong relationships with stakeholders? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are looking for an experienced Labour Manager to join our team at Dalkia. You will oversee the management of our weekly paid operatives working across multiple projects. You will handle labour forecasting, resolve resource conflicts and ensure all operational needs are met. Step into the role of Labour Manager and make a lasting impact by ensuring our projects are expertly resourced and our teams are set up for success. Key Responsibilities Labour Forecasting Review forecast for all projects weekly ensuring all projects are suitably resourced. Respond to operational requests for all ad hoc and urgent resource requests. Attend pre-start labour strategy meetings. Stakeholder Management Regular site visits to maintain high levels of engagement. Interact with management of varying seniority and foster a collaborative working relationship. Support in all Operative ER casework, conducting investigations, managing grievances in conjuction with the HRBP teams. Apprentices & Trainees Support with recruitment of apprentices and trainees. Play an active role in the induction and onboarding of all apprentices and trainees. Provide pastoral care towards apprentices and trainees. GCSE qualification or higher in Maths and English. Innovative thinking to support the needs of the operations. Ability to verbally communicate at all levels of seniority to build rapport, trust and respect. Resilient and flexible when under pressure and can demonstrate agility in a changing landscape. Motivated to seek out where improvements can be made and progressive in identifying effective and efficient ways of managing the weekly workforce.
