Britannic, an award-winning IT company based in Guildford, is looking for a Junior IT Administrator to support our internal teams and help maintain our IT systems. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, forward-thinking business where your skills will be valued and developed.
The Role
This full-time position is ideal for someone with at least two years’ IT experience. You’ll be delivering first-line support, managing hardware, and working across Microsoft 365 tools including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and Power Automate.
You’ll be based at our Guildford office five days a week for the first month, moving to a hybrid pattern (three days from home) after that.
Because public transport is not ideal, we are seeking people that have their own transport and a full UK driving licence as a must.
Please note: We are only able to consider candidates already based in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Key Responsibilities
- First point of contact for IT queries and issues.
- Set up and manage laptops, desktops, and other hardware.
- Support and maintain Microsoft 365 services.
- Maintain accurate IT records, inventory, and documentation.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and device returns.
- Help maintain demo rooms and assist with internal systems.
- Log and manage help desk tickets and escalate issues when needed.

- Local to Guildford and can commute within 1 hour.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on IT experience, specifically with Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Comfortable setting up IT hardware and providing support.
- A good communicator, problem-solver, and team player.
- Happy to follow procedures and maintain clear documentation.
