Control Flow is looking for a Household Water Auditor – Field Based Technician to join its Water Efficiency Team across Liverpool and the Wirral.

The role

You'll visit customers in their homes to help them reduce water waste and improve efficiency.

Your day will include carrying out water surveys, checking meter readings and flow rates, installing simple water-saving devices, identifying minor leaks and giving customers practical advice on reducing their water use.

You'll also speak with residents face-to-face, including some door-to-door engagement, to arrange appointments and explain the benefits of water-saving improvements.

  • Visit households across Liverpool and the Wirral
  • Carry out water efficiency surveys and basic checks
  • Install water-saving devices
  • Identify and complete minor leak repairs within your training
  • Give customers practical water-saving advice
  • Canvass local areas and arrange appointments

  • Manage equipment and vehicle stock

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Practical experience in maintenance, repairs or similar hands-on work
  • Confidence using basic hand tools
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Confidence speaking with customers face-to-face
  • Ability to organise your own workload and work independently
  • Basic IT skills
  • Experience in plumbing, property maintenance, water efficiency, field service or door-to-door work would be useful, but training can be provided.
