Visiting Angels North Yorkshire West is looking for Home Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes across Harrogate and the surrounding areas. No previous care experience is needed. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
Important information
- Because this role includes intimate personal care for female clients in their own homes, being female is an occupational requirement for this specific post. This requirement is applied in line with Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
- We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
- This is a community-based role, so you must be able to reliably travel to client visits across Harrogate and the surrounding areas.
The role
You will visit clients in their own homes and provide kind, respectful support that helps them stay independent. Duties may include:
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Helping with meals and light household tasks
- Supporting with medication prompts
- Helping clients maintain independence at home
Shifts available
- Weekday mornings: 7:00am - 2:00pm
- Weekday evenings: 4:00pm - 10:00pm
- Weekend mornings: 7:00am - 2:00pm
- Weekend evenings: 4:00pm - 10:00pm
You will be required to work alternate weekends.
