Merchandiser – Competitive Salary – Leicester, Leicestershire The Role Are you a proactive, analytical professional? Do you excel at balancing stock levels with demand to ensure products are always available at the right time and place? If so, we are looking for a Merchandiser to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our products are available in the right place, at the right time. Key Responsibilities: Developing critical paths aligned with key dates, working closely with suppliers, customers, and colleagues to meet timelines. Raising and managing purchase and sales orders for factories and customers. Analysing customer sales data to highlight potential issues and opportunities. Planning orders and containers to ensure efficient shipping and stock replenishment. Managing UK stock through a 3rd-party warehouse. Coordinating with import partners for UK clearance. Updating internal databases, including managing customer labelling and delivery arrangements. Creating product line sheets for factory compliance with customer specifications. Negotiating with factories and customers on dates, order quantities, and pricing. Supporting Account Managers and the Head of Merchandising with budget planning. The Person To thrive in this role, you’ll need: An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with teams, suppliers, and stakeholders. A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy across all aspects of merchandising. Self-management skills with the ability to take initiative and drive projects. A solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. Merchandising experience, ideally in homewares.
