What you will be doing
- The Community Liaison will work closely with the site team and report to the Project Manager.
- They will be responsible for working with a comprehensive range of community stakeholders, delivering opportunities for them to benefit from our project through a variety of different initiatives.
- Engaging with a variety of stakeholders, including the academic sector, industry groups, social business sectors, SME Trade Bodies and local and national government.
- Working with project teams and key partners to assist delivery of agreed KPI's.
- Engaging with supply chain for information on training and employment objectives.
- Providing support to the site teams in relation to the Considerate Constructors Scheme requirements.
- Collating data from supply chain and project team to provide monthly reports for allocated projects KPI's.
- Contribute to business winning activities, as well as wider Company objectives and strategies.
- Contribute to and lead meetings with project teams and stakeholders.
- Quickly connect and establish credibility with people operating in key partners and stakeholder's organisations.
- Recognise potential partnership, product and service placement opportunities and act upon them.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations.
What We're Looking For
- Experience of developing and delivering Community Engagement initiatives.
- Experience of dealing with local authorities and key stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong IT skills.
- Full licence and access to own vehicle.
