As a Field Service Engineer (Forklifts & Material Handling), you are not stuck on the same site or repeating the same fix. You start your day from home, plan your work, and head out knowing each call-out relies on your expertise. When a customer's operation is back up and running because of you, the impact is clear and rewarding. This role gives you autonomy, trust and variety. You will cover Doncaster and surrounding areas, working Monday to Friday with occasional weekend overtime. Your diary is structured, but you have the freedom to manage your day in a way that works best.
One morning you might diagnose an electrical fault on an electric counterbalance. That afternoon, you could have a diesel truck back in service before a customer's shift ends. Your work keeps businesses moving, and customers remember you for it. There are 2 positions available: 1 x Yorkshire area (Doncaster depot) and 1 x Lancashire area (Wigan Depot). We would consider applicants situated between both depots.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out on-site diagnostics, repairs and planned servicing.
- Work on diesel, LPG and electric machines, including lithium and lead acid systems.
- Respond to breakdowns and reduce equipment downtime.
- Plan and manage your own schedule efficiently.
- Build positive, professional relationships with customers.
- Represent Yorkshire Handling Equipment to a high standard at all times.

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join our team.
