The Role

As our Construction Project Manager, you'll oversee projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover. Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams, you'll ensure every stage of the project runs smoothly, safely and efficiently.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. One day you could be reviewing budgets and programmes, and the next you'll be leading stakeholder meetings or supporting your site teams to overcome project challenges. You will play a key role in delivering quality projects that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from planning through to final handover
- Manage project programmes, resources, budgets, and timelines
- Coordinate design, construction, commissioning, and delivery activities
- Monitor project progress and resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Oversee project costs, forecasts, variations, and commercial performance
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and local authorities
- Lead, motivate, and support Site Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors
- Manage project risks, contractual obligations, and project documentation

The Person
You'll be an organised and commercially aware Construction Project Manager who enjoys leading people and delivering successful projects. You'll also have:
- Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
- Significant experience managing construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing budgets, programmes, and project risk
- A strong understanding of construction regulations, methods, and industry standards
- Chartered status (CIOB, ICE or RICS), experience delivering complex projects, and knowledge of BREEAM or other sustainability frameworks would be advantageous.
