Making Space is a values-led organisation supporting communities across the UK, and we are looking for a People and Wellbeing Advisor to join our friendly People Services team.
The role is a 10-month fixed term opportunity (maternity cover), with potential to extend. Based at our Warrington Head Office, you will benefit from a hybrid approach, combining home working with time on site.
In this role, you will work closely with managers and colleagues, offering practical advice and support across a range of people matters while helping to build a positive and supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clear, practical People advice to managers
- Manage a varied caseload including disciplinary, grievance, capability, ill-health and performance matters
- Support managers through formal processes, including difficult conversations and outcomes
- Assist with consultation activity, including redundancy and organisational change
- Support more complex activities such as TUPE and restructuring
- Encourage wellbeing, engagement and positive working relationships
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, GDPR and internal policies
- Support audits, reporting and ongoing improvements
- Visit services when needed to offer hands-on support
