Estates & Maintenance Assistant – Immediate Start Hallfield School, Edgbaston, Birmingham £24,612 – £27,428 per annum dependent on experience, skills and qualifications 40 hrs per week 10:00am – 7:00pm, Monday to Friday (with the need to be flexible to occasionally work outside these hours as required), working all year round with 30 days\’ annual leave plus paid bank holidays. The Role Hallfield School is seeking to appoint a skilled Estates & Maintenance Assistant to assist with day to day maintenance and compliance of the School estate. This is an integral role within the Estates team and the successful candidate must be confident to lead and complete projects such as minor alterations and refurbishment tasks. NVQ Level 2 or above in any trade such as carpentry, plastering, plumbing or construction would also be advantageous. In addition, any experience in multi-trade skills would be highly desirable. The role offers a varied day, within a busy environment, covering maintenance, grounds work and compliance checks and testing.
