As global expansion accelerates, the Senior Accountant with strong technical expertise and deep US GAAP knowledge is being recruited to support both operational demands and strategic growth.
Role Overview
Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Accountant will uphold the accuracy and integrity of financial records across the Trading Business and Digital Division. This role suits someone who enjoys working with complex structures involving digital assets, treasury, intercompany activity, and asset‑backed arrangements. You’ll work closely with senior finance leaders and cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, listed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual US GAAP financial statements.
- Maintain accurate ledger entries across fiat, gold‑backed, and digital asset transactions.
- Own key balance sheet reconciliations (intercompany, treasury, gold inventories, token liabilities).
- Support month‑end close and management reporting.
- Assist with audits, regulatory filings, and technical accounting queries.
Digital Asset & Treasury Accounting
- Record and reconcile activity related to gold‑backed digital assets (issuance, redemption, transfers).
- Monitor digital wallets, custodial accounts, and treasury balances across platforms.
- Support accounting for asset‑backed structures, including trust‑held reserves.
- Evaluate US GAAP implications for new digital products and financial arrangements.
- Strengthen financial controls within a listed‑company environment.
- Identify and deliver process improvements to enhance accuracy and scale.
- Support ERP and accounting system projects (e.g., NetSuite).
- Contribute to accounting policies and documentation.
- Partner with Finance, Product, Technology, Legal, and Compliance teams.
- Provide technical accounting guidance for complex or unusual transactions.
- Serve as an internal US GAAP subject‑matter expert for digital assets.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- 3–5+ years’ technical accounting and US GAAP reporting experience.
- Experience in listed environments, Big 4, fintech, commodities, or digital assets is a plus.
- Knowledge of blockchain‑based or tokenised products is strongly preferred.
- Skilled in modern accounting tools (NetSuite, Xero, QuickBooks, etc.).
- Strong technical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable navigating complex, evolving structures.
- Able to explain technical matters clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.
- Proactive, adaptable, and capable of independent work.
